Alex joined Iona as an Accounts Assistant in July 2018 and is responsible for processing day-to-day transactions, payments to suppliers and overall compliance for a number of investee companies of the funds managed by Iona. He also assists in the preparation of the monthly management accounts for these companies.

 

Prior to joining Iona, Alex was a key member of the finance team at a Further Education College in Hertfordshire where he focussed on the day-to-day transactions for the College and management accounts for the subsidiary companies. Alex has completed AAT level 4 and is currently studying towards his ACCA qualification. On his weekends Alex plays Lacrosse for a southern premier league team.
