Ewan Gorford joined the investment team at Iona in 2016 and has specific responsibility for power purchase agreements and energy optimisation strategies. Prior to joining Iona, Ewan worked as a consultant in the renewables sector working on diversification strategies in the water drilling industry.  He has also worked in areas as diverse as business strategy and development, commercial negotiation and trend analysis.  Prior to this he worked for the British Government.  During which time he has worked on five continents, often for extended time periods under arduous and pressurised conditions.  This culminated in developing policing and governance in Southern Afghanistan as part of the International Security Assistance Force.
