Deal Overview

IEILP NW competed an investment in Mochdre Biomass in July 2016. This investment will allow the purchase of the latest biomass combined heat and power technology to provide heat to dry the FSC-certified wood chip which the raw material at the heart of Blazers’ high-quality products. It will also provide power significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the factory.

Plant’s installed capacity is 6.2MW of heat and power. The CHP plant has been installed on site and electricity export to grid has been achieved. The biomass combined heat and power equipment is provided by Uniconfort Srl. of San Martino di Lupari in Italy and wood drying equipment is  provided by Stela Laxhuber Gmbh. of Massing, Germany.  Both these companies are industry leaders in their field.
